I got the text on an early Tuesday morning as I was feeding my 11 day old baby girl.
"Hey my brand new and beautiful mama! I know you're on maternity leave, but I wanted to know what your scheduling looks like when you get back. I'm looking to do a pregnancy announcement photoshoot. 😉😜 I just wanted to get an idea of how far along I'll be when you're ready. I'm willing to wait because it only makes sense for you to be the one who does it.❤️"
I almost screamed and dropped my phone from excitement. HOLY MOLY MY GIRL IS PREGNANT! After text-squealing and freaking out to her and getting details of how far along she was, it sunk in - she was willing to wait on announcing her pregnancy to the world so I could be the one to take her photos. Like WUT?! I was so impatient to announce my own pregnancy, but since I've been with them through all their major life moments so far, she wanted me to be the one to be with them through this too. BREAK MY FREAKING HEART ALREADY WITH THE SWEETNESS.
I met Faith & Keegan almost two years ago. (...wow, I had to think about that because it literally feels like I've known them for forever but also it feels like just yesterday that we did their engagement photos. Time is such a weird concept.) I've been with them through their engagement, to their wedding, and now as they're growing their family. I'm so incredibly obsessed with this most precious couple and so thankful that they keep trusting me with their memories.
They're already the sweetest parents. I can't wait to welcome their little boy into the world.
